In fact, anyone can promote on TikTok and take advantage of its massive userbase to bring attention to their music. 

The only requirement is:

• Your song is distributed to TikTok through your music distributor 
  Or
• Your song is available as a "sound" on TikTok

Yes! Your distributor most likely has already uploaded your song to TikTok during the distribution process.

Alternatively, you can create a new version of your song on TikTok by filming and uploading new original content to your TikTok profile. TikTok will then take the music from your video and create a "sound" for influencers to share to their audiences.

Maybe... but TikTok is in many ways like a slot machine in Vegas—there is no guarantee. An artist has to follow a set of "best practices" in order to play the TikTok Game and make the most of the reach and viewership this campaign will provide.

Here are some best practices:

• Always thank the influencer in a public comment for using your song in their video. More than likely the influencer will "pin" your comment to the top of their post for all their followers to see.
• Keep an eye out for potential budding fans — if anyone comments on the video saying "great song" or "what song is this?" be sure to jump in and reply back to the fan and begin engaging with them.
• "Heart" any comments that show a positive response towards your song or the video.
• Repost or "Duet" the influencer's video on your own TikTok profile to create spin-off content to inspire others to do the same.
• Download the video and repost the video on your own TikTok profile thanking the influencer for creating the video for you.

Following these steps will give you added engagement and visibility during your TikTok campaign!

For artists who already have a well-developed TikTok account with a library of original content, our influencer-based promotion campaigns are an excellent way to drive traffic and engagement back to your TikTok profile and add even more brand awareness to your music ecosystem.

When an influencer creates content using your song, this will create a chain reaction where many new people will comment and want to know the source of the audio.

The more attractive your TikTok profile, the higher the likelihood that viewers will be inspired to take an action. 

Often times marketing jargon can be a little tricky but we want to clarify that up-front. The most important thing to understand is that "reach" is not the same thing as "views" — we are offering your music a large amount of guaranteed reach not guaranteed views. Let me explain:

Reach is counted by the number of fans/followers that an influencer can reach through their TikTok account. For example, to achieve a reach of 1 Million fans we will contact an influencer with a total audience size of 1 Million followers on their account (or more).

This can also be achieved by contacting two (2) influencers with an audience size of 500,000 followers each (or more) to equal a total reach of at least 1 Million fans.

Here are some useful definitions:

• Reach / Followers - The total number of followers that the influencer(s) can post to.
• Impressions / Views - The amount of times a post is shown to a fan/user. Views will be a percentage of the total reach.
• Engagement - The number of likes & comments a post receives. Engagement will be a percentage of the total views.

The number of impressions / views will be a percentage of the total reach. TikTok users will see all forms of engagement such as views, likes, comments, and shares. Engagement metrics will be a % of the total impressions because many users will view a video without liking and commenting. Reach is a metric of brand awareness.

All statistics are publicly facing on the TikTok platform, here's how to find them:

• Reach / Followers - You can see influencer's follower count on their profile.
• Impressions / Views - You can view current number of views on any video has on the video thumbnail on the influencers profile.
• Engagement - You can view the current number of likes and comments by pressing play on the video.

Unlike Spotify Playlists, TikTok influencers do not remove you off of their profile once the campaign has ended. Some videos live several months, even more than a year on the influencer’s page, gaining more traction than initially planned!

The size of the package you select will determine the total audience size that you can potentially reach with your song. Larger campaigns will require securing influencers with a larger audience base and/or multiple influencers simultaneously working to achieve our promotional goal.

The duration of our human-led influencer pitching process varies due to its organic nature and the intricacies of the approval procedure. On average, it takes us approximately 15 days to secure an influencer. However, factors such as the song's characteristics, its genre, and other artistic elements may extend this timeframe.
